Decorating Magic Nashville

After 15 years in the film-production business as an art director, Decorating Magic Nashville instructor Susan Wolf turned her creative flair toward home decorating. She now uses her eye for design to teach students how to paint and decorate furniture. Her chalk-painting class uses specialty chalk paint to repurpose anything from a small candlestick to a side table. The latex-painting class employs a more common paint to cheaply prime and redesign a piece of furniture. More advanced classes, such as crackle painting, stenciling, peeling paint, and faux finishes, add finer touches to side tables and floor-cloth paintings.
