All participants must sign waivers; participants under 18 must have form signed by a parent or legal guardian. Valid for group lessons only; student-to-instructor ratio is 10:1 for pool sessions and for open water sessions. $25 certification fee due at completion of ANDI Open-Water Scuba course. For more experienced divers, the refresher course sharpens existing skills through a session that reviews dive procedures and outfits each participant with a mask, fins, snorkel, and booties. The ANDI open-water scuba-certification class, which takes place on weekends and weeknights, covers scuba fundamentals through class work, pool dives, and two open-water sessions in Lake Travis, during which pupils are supplied with all necessary equipment. Students may use their own gear.
