Following a consultation, the doctor numbs the skin with a local anesthetic and makes a small incision across the natural crease in the upper lids or along the lower lash line. Through these slits, he removes fat deposits and excess tissue, thereby minimizing the appearance of bags and puffiness. Clients of Asian descent can use the procedure to create a double fold above the single eyelid, widening the eye into an almond shape with minimal evidence of surgery. The procedure takes about one–two hours. Ice compresses help relieve pain and swelling for the first few days, and patients should expect to wait three–seven days to return to normal activities. Full recovery may take a few weeks.

Cosmetic Surgery Hawaii

In practice since 1983, Cosmetic Surgery Hawaii is run by a board-certified cosmetic plastic surgeon of the head and neck, who has been honing his surgical skills and eye for aesthetic details for more than 25 years. He has extensive experience performing procedures ranging from breast augmentation, face-lifts and liposuction to Botox, Dysport, and dermal fillers. Fellowship trained in hair transplantation, he has completed more than one million hair-transplant procedures, or enough to frame each face on Mount Rushmore with long, luxurious waves.

The Groupon Guide to: Mysterious Found Objects

There are important cultural artifacts all around us—in garbage cans, the gutter, or hung mysteriously out of human reach over power lines. What is the secret significance of these urban anomalies?

Sneakers: This person most likely exploded.

One Sneaker: Oh man, this person definitely exploded.

Inside-Out Umbrella: Either this umbrella couldn't hold up to a gusty wind and proved to be more trouble than it was worth or its owner exploded.

Pile of Cigarette Ash: Or the remains of an exploded person—who can tell?

A Candy Wrapper: Obviously someone suddenly exploded, as no one would be thoughtless enough to just throw garbage on the ground. Search around nearby to see if you can also score a free umbrella or one sneaker.

How does one sneaker mysteriously end up in the street? The answer revealed.
