Yeah, I have the same question—I just visited the website and it says, "Seminars and Clinics do not include riding a horse. " Also, I was going to ask the age range for kids for these seminars and how long the seminar lasts?
The seminars are between 2-3 hours long, depending on attendance. They do not include riding, but include all of the steps that lead up to a lesson. If you were to take the private lesson option instead, the value is $105! So it is a great introduction to the barn, horses, tack and process involved. Plus, after you attend, you are a member of the Denver Equestrians Club, and are eligible for the discounted lesson packages!

You are correct, this does NOT include riding a horse. This can be found in the Fine Print section as well as on the Denver Equestrian website.
This is a great seminar for and introduction or refresher course to how to tack, groom, etc a horse and prep you for future endeavors with horses!

It says all ages welcome, but if you are purchasing for a younger child, do you need to purchase two, so you can attend with them, even if I have no intention of lessons myself? I have a six year old and I surely will not just drop him off for 2-3 hours by himself…

The seminar takes the place of the first lessons required to get started ($105 if purchased separately). After that, packages of 4 lessons are discounted. The prices are different for private, group and semi-private lessons. They all last approximately an hour. All guests are required to pay for attendance. Randy L.- I think you should not be commenting on this. Your ignorance is clear. Free horses are barely even free any more as they take over the range and are put up for adoption and euthanized. Why try to harm a responsible business, particularly one that is clearly committed to rescuing and rehabilitating horses? Unfortunately we no longer live in a world where animals get to roam free and choose their existence.
