Questions and Answers

If I purchase 18 classes at $29 per 6 classes, would I be able to uses these for my 9 Brownies to have a 1 hour class using the wheel and include the return class to come back and paint for the remaining 9 sessions? Thank you for serving the community--I wish you were in the East Valley!

$29 purchases a class for two people. Each class includes a session making pottery and the return visit to 'paint' your items. Your troop could use vouchers but each voucher is good for two people to attend one class, so it ends up being an even number of classes you purchase (2 for each voucher). Does that make sense?

Good Morning, I see in another question, the classes are Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays, can you tell me what time the classes are and when does the classes start? Will there be a class that starts after the holidays? Also, about how many students per class, and everyone will have a wheel and we all work at the same time, or will there be one person working and everyone else watching, taking turns? Thank You

Classes are held Wednesdays 930am and 7pm Thursdays 530pm Saturdays 11am and every other Saturday at 2pm. We try to keep maximum to 8 (occasionally up to 10). Each person has their own wheel and works intensely during the entire hour., with demonstration, instruction and hands on help for the entire class from an experienced wheel teacher, and will create two items minimum, to finish and glaze. You can take your classes whenever you would like, they are set up on a 'drop in' basis, with a reservation, we do suggest you try to space your six classes as closely together as you can to gain the basic skills quicker.

Is this the $79 groupon? "Beginning Pottery Wheel classes spend one hour on the wheel, crafting two to three small flowerpots, bowls, or rounded pyramids before students leave their pieces for the staff to fire. Three weeks later, pupils return to glaze their creations, picking up their fully fired masterpieces within a week."

Hi, Yes the $79 six class package pertains to the Beginning Pottery Wheel classes held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. They are also applicable to the Kids Wheel Classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

HI! I have never worked on a pottery wheel before, but am really intersted in trying this! Do you think this is out of my league? I want to do more than just paint a pre-done pot. I am pretty crafy - am a photographer and have painted a bit as well. thanks!

These are geared toward first timers, and are suitable for complete beginners. I'm sure you would enjoy our beginning classes and you will learn the skills to create your own pottery.
