It's said that youth is wasted on the young, whose fear of authority prevents them from jamming their tiny arms inside vending machines. Grab hold of youth with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $1,499 for blepharoplasty on the upper or lower lids of both eyes (a $3,000 value)
  • $2,499 for blepharoplasty on the upper and lower lids of both eyes (a $5,000 value)

A roughly one-hour operation performed under local anesthesia and IV sedation, blepharoplasty can help create a fresher, more youthful appearance by removing excess skin from around the eyes. Ice compresses help reduce swelling and bruising for 24–48 hours after the procedure, and sutures are removed after four or five days. In older patients, blepharoplasty is often performed as part of a face-lift; when employed with a special surgical technique, it can also create an artificial upper-eyelid fold in some patients of Asian descent.

The walls of Dr. Raja K. Srour's office are peppered with his own paintings. He finds that his artistic skills travel easily between the canvas and the human body: both depend on his keen eye, dexterous digits, and "intense desire for harmony and perfection." Dr. Srour's treatments all aim for a look that is true to the patient's own personality and ethnic background, creating harmony with their natural features and favorite ascots. Throughout the three decades he's spent performing cosmetic surgeries on Beverly Hills' faces and bodies, Dr. Srour's work has also landed in front of the lenses of Extra and Fox 11.

The Groupon Guide to: Still-Life Painting

Still-life paintings are the easiest kind to do because everything you’re painting is already dead, thus holding still. Try out these subjects for your next still life:

  • A skull being used as a vase
  • A bunch of mangoes in a bowl but one of them is purple
  • Two teakettles. They don’t have faces, but do they somehow seem to be … talking to each other?
  • Onions
  • The bust of an ancient emperor sitting on a little girl’s nightstand
  • A wooden table strewn with a bunch of dead quail
  • A harpsichord gathering dust in a corner while a shiny electric guitar sits, well cared for, in a stand
  • A man’s hat, pipe, and book all sit on his chair, which has the imprint of his body, but there is no sign of the man.
  • A bunch of absurdly wet fruit

What can you do with a bunch of absurdly wet fruit?
