$44 for a Etiquette and Life-Skills Class for Children ($100 Value)

Each 2.5-hour More Than Manners class covers important dining and social skills that will aid children in every social situation. The centerpiece lesson teaches kids how to comport themselves at a dinner party, how to show respect for a host, and how to demonstrate proper dining habits, all with real food. At the end of the class, each child will receive a goody bag, handouts, and a certificate. Children are scheduled for three age groups: 6–9 and 10–13.

Doors of Success School of Etiquette

Throughout a lifetime of studies and travels, Bethany Miller of Doors of Success School of Etiquette has found that the value of proper etiquette remains constant. She prepares her students to sail smoothly through social situations by helping children master the skills of formal dining, adults tackle complex situations such as family gatherings, weddings, and hunting for a job, and teens learn why writing a thank-you note is important and how to be at ease in any social situation. In addition to her degree in elementary education, Miller is certified in etiquette training by the American School of Protocol.

“Make sure your child is in an appropriate age group. Great time for the kids, useful information, and will probably go back for a refresher and sign my other children up as well. Worth the distance to travel. Nice for kids to hear this information from someone else other than their parents reminding them constantly.”
