Dover Downs Hotel & Casino
Set against a solid expanse of sky on Dover's outskirts, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino feels more like a small city than a resort. The AAA Four-Diamond property encompasses a swanky hotel with 500 guest rooms and suites, a horseracing track, and 11 restaurants and bars. There’s even a spa, Toppers Spa/Salon, where guests can indulge in a lime-and-coconut body polish against a soothing backdrop of potted bamboo and Oriental murals. But the hotel’s main draw is the casino, which has nearly 2,500 slot machines, the Crown Royal © Poker Room, and live table games, such as roulette, blackjack, and craps.
Throughout the year, Dover Downs hosts entertainment events including concerts and standup acts. The venue even houses the occasional beer, chocolate, and wine festival.

“The hotel is great , but the wine festival has been going down hill every year. Less vendors and the lines are long unless you go the last hour of the show.”
“Park at hotel or area to the right of the casino if you are just going in for an event.”

“The lines were very long to receive the samples. More stations would have been better. Also, they started laying out platters of cheese and crackers at the end. It would have given us a better taste of each wine to have crackers, cheese, etc. while tasting the wines, to see what compliments each wine. It was great for the price. My husband and I enjoyed it. It was nice to have some vendors there to purchase cheeses, etc. ”
