Questions and Answers

The offer indicates that it's only for 1 major body area. Would the stomach, waist, and thighs be considered as 1 major body area or would these each be a separate body area?

Mara O. asked 1 year, 1 month, 14 days, 2 hours, and 53 minutes ago - 1 answer

Downtown Z.

Good morning Mara, The amount of area we are able to cover really depends on a person's size. We are able to cover about 18 inches of body fat at a time, spreading the arms further than that will reduce the affect of the lasers although it is possible. We are usually able to combine stomach and waist, but not the thighs or we could cover the waist and thighs, but not the stomach. If you have more specific questions please feel free to call our office at 707 933 7199.

Does this treatment work for menopausal women and if so, should I expect different results?

Cory B. asked 1 year, 1 month, 14 days, 23 hours, and 40 minutes ago - 1 answer

Downtown Z.

Hi Cory, we invested in Zerona mainly for women who have had children or experienced menopause even though it is for everyone who could use quick fat loss. Women who experience menopause actually receive the best results with Zerona because their level of estrogen often decreases which changes their bodies ability to distribute fat appropriately. To date, there is nothing that has been double blind studied and cleared through the FDA aside Zerona that could rid the body of belly fat. The frequency of photons emitted through Zerona are only perceived by the photoreceptors of fat cells which accounts for why Zerona can affectively reduce the size of belly fat and have no negative side effects because the laser cannot affect any other cells. So to answer your second question; Yes , you should expect better results than most people.

Is the zerona laser treatment permanent on the fat cells it affects, or does the effect reverse with time?

Lisa O. asked 1 year, 1 month, 14 days, 13 hours, and 23 minutes ago - 1 answer

Downtown Z.

Zerona is as close to permanent as you can get. As with any fat loss, you are responsible for maintaining your results. Dr. Darius Bunyad has a lot of experience with the way Zerona works and how best to maintain the results. He advises all our patients individually on how best to achieve and maintain optimal results.

Is the average 3.5 inches per treatment or per how many treatments?

Megan W. asked 1 year, 1 month, 14 days, 13 hours, and 23 minutes ago - 1 answer

Downtown Z.

The average of 3.5 inches is from clinical studies after 6 treatments. Following Dr. Bunyad's guidelines you can lose much more than 3.5 inches.

What kind of down time is there? What can you expect to loose in 3 treatments?

Barbara E. asked 1 year, 1 month, 14 days, 13 hours, and 31 minutes ago - 1 answer

Downtown Z.

Hi Barbara, the beauty of this procedure is that there is no downtime and the results you can expect would require a consultation with Dr. Bunyad and more information about you.
