$2,699 for a Complete Invisalign Treatment ($5,890 Value)

Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable, custom aligners. The process begins at the dentist’s office, where, during an initial exam, the doctor snaps x-rays and takes impressions of the upper and lower teeth. In the Invisalign lab, technicians craft a set of up to 48 transparent aligners made to the patient’s exact specifications. Patients wear the removable aligners for 6–18 months, changing the aligners every two weeks and only removing them while eating, brushing, or modeling a finely clenched jaw. Throughout the treatment, patients return to the dentist's office for routine checkups to ensure that teeth continue to shift into their proper places. Read the Invisalign FAQs here.

Dr. Heather Wilmore DDS

It's difficult to say which aspect of Dr. Heather Wilmore’s background is most responsible for her focus on patient comfort: her nursing background or her training in business management and office design. The former pediatric ICU nurse has created a welcoming environment in which she performs general, cosmetic, and restorative dental services with the latest equipment and technology. Upon entering the reception area, you'll find warm golden walls, bursts of red from floral arrangements, and dark wood and leather furniture, all of which make the space feel more like a Victorian-era parlor than a dentist's office. A backlit water fountain murmurs soothingly as patients sip a complimentary beverage and head for rooms equipped with movies, music, and educational videos. After treatment, guests freshen up with a lemon-scented towel. But Dr. Wilmore's emphasis on comfort extends beyond pampering. She uses an advanced digital-imaging system to predict the future of clients' smiles and the profitability of investing tooth-fairy spoils in a money market fund. She hastens recovery time from local anesthetic with a product called OraVerse, allowing patients to return to speaking, eating, and smiling in half the time. Dr. Wilmore's passion for people is also demonstrated in her community involvement: she serves people with disabilities as an MHMR Association dentist and speaks at elementary schools about the importance of oral hygiene.

The Groupon Guide to: Fighting Crime

While the police largely discourage comic book-inspired vigilantism, there are still a number of less flamboyant ways to combat crime in your community:

  • If you see something, say something—for instance, if you see a weird bug, make sure to tell everyone you meet that day about it.

  • Install intense floodlights in your bedroom so that no burglars can hide in the shadows and watch you sleep.

  • Teach children to trust the police by visiting schools dressed as something children already trust: a giant, talking dog wearing a policeman’s hat, with huge, unblinking plastic eyes.

  • Join a neighborhood watch, wherein adjacent neighborhoods volunteer to take turns staying up all night and watching each other to make sure no crimes happen.

  • When all else fails, join up with the lawless bands of lunatics who run your streets—you might be surprised how quickly you discard all morality in exchange for a skewer of boar meat roasted over a flaming garbage can.

Can you fight crime in your neighborhood by volunteering to never sleep again? Find out with today's Groupon Guide.
