Buyer beware... I got what I thought was a great $44 Groupon deal for teeth cleaning plus exam at Doctor Smile in San Pedro. I understood clearly that this was for general cleaning, not deep cleaning. Well, surprise surprise... after the exam I was told that a general cleaning would be no good for my teeth and I would have to have the deep cleaning. How much? $700 "but we will take off $20 because of the Groupon". Now, had they gone ahead with the general cleaning and left the advice there that I really needed deep cleaning, I wouldn't have had a problem. But actually refusing to do the general cleaning? I don't think so! Maybe it wasn't a scam, but with that attitude, I told them clearly that even if there proved to be a problem with my teeth (I am suffering no discomfort whatever) I certainly wouldn't be having it fixed at Doctor Smile.

Dont buy the dental cleaning exam and xrays on groupon. For an extra $70 they will do a proper cleaning i wish i would of know that before i bought it
