In order to make sure I am answering correctly I would need to see you, and Sclerotherapy is much different from laser treatments. Sclerotherapy involves safely destroying the inner lining of the vein on the first treatment - without damage to surrounding tissue. Tiny injections into the vein are barely felt. The sclerosing agent also numbs the vein so it is quite painless. Veins usually need be treated only once. You can treat different veins at any time. Again, to give you the best information specific to you, we can answer more when I see you. You can also purchase more treatments at the discount price if you choose to only purchase 1 treatment. Abbey, Yes. Thank you, that is a really good point. More than one vein can be treated. However, only 6cc of fluid can be safely injected at each visit, and treatment protocols are chosen specific to each patient. I can be very clear and specific when I see you. I hope that helps.

As stated below, yes, most small spider veins have a larger feeder which may be seen under transillumination with a special light to visualize under the skin. If these feeders, or spider veins can be cannulated ( threaded with the needle and solution ) they will be destroyed. Laser therapy remains best for tiny purple and red bursts on the surface. I love AZ Laser for veins, Rebecca and Carmen along with the laser technicians there are excellent with laser vein treatments. I hope this helps.
