Can this procedure be used for droopy eyelids/wattle beneath chin?

Yes the waddles beneath the chin are treated very well with this, as long as the waddle is mostly loose skin than fat. Droopy lids? we cant inject the lids with the plasma, but we can inject right above the lids and temple.

If you buy two treatments which last for a year must you use the second one before the year is done? Example: Buy two-use one November 2012. Does second one have to be used by April 2013?

the effects can last up to a year, but we suggest that you do the second treatment with in three months of the first, you will see better results that way.

Hi- I recently purchased 1 syringe of Radiesse dermal filler offered by Dr. Rubbani thru Groupon.. The promotion offered a choice of 2 other fillers but the Selphyl treatments were not offered at that time. In the question and answer section, I found out that if the doctor felt a different filler would be better suited for the targeted area, the patient could pay the difference between the fillers and get the one recommended instead. This promo says its for a 'facelift' using Selphyl treatments- is that for the whole face or 1 syringe and if indicated, can I pay the difference and opt for the Selphyl treatments instead? Tks!

The selphyl is roughly about 4cc of plasma that is injected into the face. It cant be compared with the radiesse. the radiesse gives you an instant plump. the selphly although a larger amount of plasma injected, takes a month to two months to start seeing a difference. Its really there to improve the quality and texture of the skin. You will have swelling post injection that lasts a few days, then subsides. with the radiesse the swelling is not as much but the plumping effects are more immediate. so to sum it up, the two are very different and can be used in combination as well. They are also injected with very different techniques.

How long does this procedure last in comparison with Juvederm?

they both last the same amount of time, but they both act very differently. Juvederm will give you an instant fullness and volumization. while the plasma does not give you as much volume but it repairs the skin and brings more rejuvenating factors, growth factors, to the skin which are in the plasma of your own blood.

It lasts up to a year. You are numbed with injectable lidocaine prior to being injected with the plasma. You can also receive topical anesthetic . There is mild moderate discomfort, similar to any other facial injection. Afterwards you do have swelling, but pain is minimal.
