Groupon: Collective Buying Power

For the $149 special, would I get to drive alone? Is there other hidden costs like taxes or insurance?

Absolutley,

All of our driving experiences are drive alone style.
You will be in contract with our instructor/spotter vis radio to help coach you around the track, but you are in control.

Great one last question, is the insurance included on this deal?

Insurance is $60. That will cover everything up to $1,000 deductible for damage caused by YOU. Items such as blown tire, engine failure, etc. we cover. It would only be if you are at fault. We have other items but they are all optional, such as video of your experience, pictures, tshirts, etc etc, all optional.

Is there anything that we would be expected to provide, e.g., helmet, special clothing, etc?
The info provided indicates that a reservation is required. Are there times still available for either Saturday or Sunday?
Are most people that sign up for this novices?

Did anybody else who purchased this have a problem with the number given to make a reservation? I was asked to enter a 4-digit code, not sure if the number was correct or not.

I ordered to Groupons from DriceTech Racing School yesterday. They give you a phone number to call to make a reservation, when you call you are asked a password, they don’t give you one.
I called the school directly and have been waiting an hour for them to call me back. I emailed groupon and have not received a reply yet. Is anyone else having this problem?

I called the Drivetech phone number and was able to get my reservations taken care of. Number is 1-888-495-(RACE).

Cancelled! This was my first Groupon experience, and between the wrong phone number and the cancellation, I must say I’m not impressed.

This was my husband’s anniversary present. I am so disappointed it was cancelled with no reason given. I agree with Patrick, not really impressed with Groupon.
