Hello, I read that it is advised to use applicable software while training to practice what we are learning. Can you please list all the software that is recommended for the trainings? What software can be obtained for free and where can I download it? Also, you said in a previous question that a certification of completion is received from e-Careers when completing at least 70% of the training. Would e-Careers be sending the certificate and transcripts by mail? Thanks.

Hi Carlos, The program is not included (i.e. you don't get a copy to keep). You would access a training program online. You do not need the software to study the course as the package is all self sufficient. It includes simulations so you can see how the software looks and runs. If you are looking to make your own web pages after the course then you will need to buy the relevant software. Yes upon completion you can get a course completion certificate, it will be sent to you by mail. If I complete one of the courses but don't feel I have the necessary expertise to put it on a resume, am I allowed to repeat that class during the 1-year period until I feel that I'm proficient in the particular discipline? Also, may I log in from more than 1 computer, as I have a laptop and a desktop and would probably want to utilize both depending upon the length of the class.

Looks like e-Careers is not compatible with Mac, is that correct?

Hi, No! you can use Mac for the training. As most of our courses are Internet Explorer Based, so if you have a Mac, you will need to run Apple Bootcamp or some Visualization Software. Can I see a course description for the classes? Also, I don't see WordPress as any of the class options. Is WordPress taught in any of the general web design classes?

What are the computer hardware and software requirements (e.g., browser, plug-ins, applications)? Also, do we achieve industry recognized certification(s) if we pass the courses?

Hi Marty, the following are the minimum user system requirements necessary to enjoy maximum access to our courses: (1) 166MHz Pentium with 16MB Ram (200MHz Pentium with 32MB Ram is recommended), (2) 640x480 256-colour video (800x600 is recommended), (3) Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7, (4) Internet Explorer 6.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm) or higher required, and (5) An internet connection of 28.8K (56K+ is recommended). You would receive a certificate of completion once you are done with at least 70% of the entire training. After you finish this course, does a person get any form of certification or diploma for resume references? Are there any hidden fees / books to purchase?

Hi Jill, you would receive a certificate of completion once you are done with at least 70% of the entire training. However, you can even print separate certificates for the different courses from your account. Our training is self sufficient so you would not require any other study material, neither is there any hidden fee with this package. Looking at the fine print I seen this "Expires Nov 14, 2012" is that for the purchase time? certainly not the time I have left to take the courses... correct?

Do you need all the various software packages ie. Photoshop etc installed on your computer to take the various courses? What is the format of instruction - Webinars at specific times or you just open each course when you are available?
