Cynthia, an electrolysis specialist, whisks away unwanted hair at her station within Shapers Salon and Spa, which is tucked inside Towne Centre Mall. During electrolysis sessions, she uses a specialized probe to destroy the hairs’ ability to grow, resulting in reduced growth or permanent hair removal. For less intensive hair removal, Cynthia also uses bowls of warm wax to clean up fuzzy faces, hairy legs, and extra-feathery wings. To work around her clients’ busy schedules, she offers appointments as late as 8 p.m., as well as on all holidays.
