Corn mazes were invented by farmers looking for a way to turn a profit from the otherwise useless crop. Solve the riddle of the maize with this Groupon.

Starting September 6, the corn mazes are open Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through October 27. The longest maze route is 2.7 miles, and there's a scaled-down 0.2-mile maze for younger kids. Guests also enjoy admission to various attractions, including corn cannons, a giant sandbox filled with corn kernels, giant tube slides, and hayrides.
Eliada's Annual Corn Maze
From the time Dr. Lucius B. Compton founded Eliada Homes, Inc. in 1903, the nonprofit agency continues to work toward creating healthy futures for abused, dependent, and neglected children and their families through foster care, therapy, and range of other programs. One of those programs begins each autumn, when the agency sets up its corn maze through 12 acres of tall cornstalks and challenges visitors to decipher its intricate passageways without help of any helicopter reconnaissance support. When not working through the facility’s four mazes, participants can also enjoy less mentally taxing attractions such as a giant sandbox filled with corn kernels, a storybook trail, and hayrides. All proceeds from admission directly benefit the organization, Eliada's Children.
