Is there a pet fee?
Las Vegas for a LA Groupon? Whats up with that
1) it expires in 1 year
2) Pets are welcome so yes
3) It is in Las Vegas not LA..
Yep, can’t purchase it here either. way to go groupon!
Hi. I work for the hotel featured. Regarding questions above:
$39 groupon is for 1 night
You can buy up to 3
You can buy the groupon for a one-bedroom suite and upgrade to a 2-bedroom at check-in or when making the reservation for an additional charge.
We do accept pets at our S. Las Vegas Blvd. location for an additional $25 per night.
Vegas-
Sorry for the technical problem when purchasing the deal. We are working on it right now. It should be solved anytime now.
Thanks!
Stephanie at Groupon.com
When it says limit 3 per person does that mean that you could potentially use 3 in one visit across 3 days- for example- If I want to stay 3 nights in a row could I buy 3 groupons for 39.00 each night is that possible to use over 3 days?
Zildheam L.-
It is $39 per night. You can purchase up to 3 nights in a row. Hope this helps!
Stephanie at Groupon.com

Is this good any day of the week or only mid-week?
Michella H.-
Yes, you can use 3 over 3 days in a row.
Stephanie at Groupon.com
Does this include weekends? Are there any blackout dates?
Stacey F-
Yes, it is available on weekends. The only blackout date is New Years Eve.

Hi,
I’m coming with a family of 6 Memorial day weekend. I would be interested in two rooms for Sat night May 29th. If I bought two coupons would I be able to use them that fast?
Tina,
Yes, they can be used for memorial Day weekend. Be sure to call and make your reservation though because I believe we only have rooms that weekend at our S. Las Vegas Blvd. property.
Emerald Suites
Vegas-
The site is back up and working. Feel free to go ahead and make your purchase. If you have any problems let me know.
Stephanie at Groupon.com
I’m still unable to purchase. I get a message saying that the limit was reach & no longer available or expired. :o(

Stephanie or Meliassa can you give us an estimate of the upgrade rate to the 2 bedroom suite?

What is the upgrade price to go to a 2 bedroom?
We are a family of 5 and would need this option.
Stacy F. and Vegas-
I apologize. I must have spoken too soon. We are experiencing technical difficulties again. I am very sorry for the inconvenience. Please check back shortly. It will be back up and running.
Stephanie at Groupon.com
I have tried several times to buy and keep getting messages that it is unavailable. Now it says no longer available. The message board looks like there is still technical difficulties. Will it be available later or is it done?
Rhonda M-
Yes, the deal is still available. I apologize again. We are still experiencing technical difficulties. Please check back. The deal will be available all weekend!

Stephanie – Thank you! I will get it as soon as I see it available.

I called Emerald Suites and was told it would be a $30 upgrade fee to pay at booking for a 2 bedroom. Problem is they will not let me book the room until I have my groupon. Hope this gets up and running so I can book the one night I need in July!

I live in Vegas. this hotel is in a bad part of Vegas and is old and kind of gross. Just a heads up.
kelli,
I just spoke with our reservation department and let them know to go ahead and take reservations now and just stress that you must have your GROUPON at check-in. So, go ahead and call to make your reservation and Stephanie with Groupon has assured me that you should be able to purchase the Groupon soon. They are woorkingon it.
Thanks!
Kelli S-
We are doing our best to fix the problem. The deal will be available all weekend on our site. I will write on the discussion board as soon as we fix the problem.
Thank you for your patience!

Upgrade to a 2bedroom is $30 and will be paid to the hotel at checkin.
I just called to find out the rate. The rate is $69.99 for one-bedroom and $89.99 for two-bedroom. If you are interesting in booking two-bedroom, you can go to www.cheaprooms.com The rate is only $67.49 per night for two-bedroom. Cheaper than paying $30.00 for an upgrade (I thought groupon worth $79.99 per night??). You can save one-bedroom groupon for another visit.
Vegas- The site is back up and running! Thank you for your patience.
Stephanie at Groupon.com
I went to the emerald inn website and according to it, only the south location (not the one close to the strip) allow pets.
Can anyone officially clarify that and post that on here… in case, some of us don’t go to the hotel’s website?
And what of the bad part of town comment…
CORRECTION: Emerald Suites was the website I went to

Melissa- They let me book after I mentioned we could. Thanks!
Vicky- I guess the rate depends on the dates needed. July 24 was a higher rate at www.cheaprooms.com and didn’t have the Vegas Blvd. location (which we need as they have the one king and 2 double bed option only there.) I’ve been searching for 2 bedroom suites for awhile and this is a great deal! We are just passing thru so will be happy to save $$$!
Stephanie – I was able to purchase, thanks!

How much will the tax be? (since this is not included in the groupon)
Stephanie – Thank you. I got the deal!!!
The person that posted that it is in a bad part of town needs to get with it. It is not in the bad part of town. It is S. LV Blvd not N LV Blvd. Pay no mind to the person that obviously doesn’t know where she lives. It is in a great part of town
What other fees should I anticipate to pay after buying the groupon? Taxes, resort fee, tv fee, etc….now a days, everything seems to be a la carte in some of the bigger vegas resorts.
To clarify the pet questions: We only accept pets at our S. Las Vegas BLvd. location. There is an additional fee of $25 per night per pet payable to the hotel directly at check-in. There is no weight restriction. However, we do not allow aggressive breeds.
As for the bad part of town…. I’m not sure which location you were referring to but I disagree. Our Cameron hotel is a bit older and in a much higher traffic location. However, I would not consider this a “bad” part of town by any means. Our S. Las Vegas location is about 4 miles South of the main “Strip” area on Las Vegas Blvd and is not a bad area by any means. Hope this helped!
Emerald Suites

Which hotel is closed to the strip and what is the distance from the hotel to strip?
Cameron location is a little closer. It’s about 1.5 miles West of the Strip. South location is actually on Las Vegas Blvd but about 4 miles South of Mandalay Bay which starts the main “Strip”. However, our Shuttle will take you from our South location to Mandalay Bay!
What hours do the shuttles from your hotel and Manalay Bay run?
Are there free shuttle services to and from BOTH locations?
Free Shuttle pick up from the Airport at any time to either of our properties.
Shuttle to the airport from S. Las Vegas Blvd location on even hours and from Cameron location on Odd hours.
Madalay Bay drop off from S. Las Vegas Blvd location only, on even hours between 8am and 10pm.
Kelli – Yes, the rate I found is in June. Thank you for bring that out!

Yes this is a nasty hotel and location. If you like lower class places then you will love this hotel. So for the person who thinks I need to get with it you must like dirty places. Vegas has a lot to offer. This is a hotel that you would wonder why did I do this deal. I have travled many places and lived in Vegas for almost 10 years. I would not consider this place of quality. But take your chances. It is a gamble.
I would have to agree with Johanna and I have lived here over 16 years !! I wouldn’t buy it. When you are only shown a picture of a glorious pool and not a single bedroom shot I would be leary. Buyers Beware !!!
To Johanna & Asia – your buyers beware comment is hilarious! You make this place sound like a drug house lol. Sorry this place isn’t up to standard for your Paris Hilton expectations but for $39 bucks you cant beat it! Sounds like you’re comparing this budget hotel to a luxury hotel…which is ridiculous…of course it won’t compare! I just bought it for 3 nights and I look foward to stayin there. When I’m in vegas I’m only in my room when i need to change, shower, sleep or, shhh so its all good ;) They even have a complimentary shuttle to the Strip – Great deal esp when the bigger hotels are either booked or raise their rates for holiday wknds!

Khalil Z- THE VOICE OF REASON. The negative comments posted earlier were so out of line. You are correct, this is a deal and not a luxury hotel!
Again I wasn’t comparing it to a luxury hotel. I would want to know if I were bringing my family. If it were just my husband or brother traveling like the young man above – I would say go for it and let the chips fall where they may. Many people get “sucked” into the “deal” without knowing much about it. I don’t consider sleeping there a deal not even for 25 dollars – SORRY.
I currently have a colleague staying at the S. LV Blvd. location. He travels frequently and is accustom to 4-5 star accommodations. He finds the comments, “nasty hotel” and “gross” to be laughable. On the contrary, he has found the place to be clean, with a very comfortable bed with nice linens, and the staff to be courteous. I am not familiar with the historical reputation of the place; However, I take it on good authority that at this time, it is a nice place to stay. The location is certainly NOT a bad part of town!

Why does my purchase say effective May 21st and Expires May 24th. I don’t have to use it on one of thosedates do I?
Mark B.
It is effective May 21, 2010 and Expires May 24, 2011. You have a yesr to use it.
FYI: My experience here in 07 was good. Great value for the money, but it is a budget hotel. Pool was clean and not overcrowded like being right on the strip can be. I stayed in a 2bedroom suite and it was nicer than the 1 bedroom (I upgraded on the 2nd night of my stay when my sons invaded my romantic long weekend away). Full kitchen, spacious fridge, they supplied dishes & a saucepan, FLAT PANEL TV (which blew me away at @$90 a night), and free internet. I mentioned the front desk I booked through a specific discount website and asked if there were any upgrades available and got it. Not sure if one thing had anything to do with the other, maybe I just caught the staff in a great mood. Good luck and I advise check out reviews good and bad before you buy. Good Luck, All!
Is there a pool at both locations?

I’d be more interested in a 2br room… Any way to do it with a groupon?
