The flirty, pop-art décor showcases coowner and aesthetician Amanda Banghart's ebullient personality but belies her serious beauty chops. A bachelor of biology from Wayne State College augments her aesthetician's understanding of skin chemistry. Amanda complements her formal and experiential education with professional certifications from Image and Bioelements, from which she learned to design effective skincare regimes with their products.

Drawing on this wealth of knowledge, Banghart analyzes each client's complexion to discover the source of and appropriate treatment for blemishes, early signs of aging, or the slow metamorphosis into a young Benjamin Button. Cosmetics for special occasions also inspired her avid scholarship of beauty.
