Stationary bikes allow cyclists to focus on their workout instead of focusing on dodging cars or tossing newspapers directly through mail slots from afar. Spin the pedal around the metal with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $49 for 10 cycling and strength-training classes (a $149 value)
  • $79 for 20 cycling and strength-training classes (a $269 value)

Armed with a package of classes, exercisers can choose from the facility's array of 45-, 60-, and 75-minute cycling or cycling- and TRX-training classes.

Epic Ryde

Exercise enthusiasts Annie Merrifield and Lori Melchior founded Epic Ryde to provide indoor cyclists with an experience that rivals that of outdoor cycling. Their modern facility recreates everything but the wind in riders’ hair, with bikes positioned in stadium seating in view of Sloan's Lake and immersive widescreen video of outdoor scenes. Completing the scene are RealRyder ABF8 stationary bikes, whose articulating frame allows riders to lean from side to side to simulate turns or demonstrate extreme swagger.

Epic Ryde’s facility also incorporates TRX training, which uses resistance from suspended body weight and gravity to give exercisers a full-body workout. A team of certified instructors teaches the array of classes, which include Mountain Ryde and Epic Mix, a combination of cycling and TRX training.

The Groupon Guide to: Horsepower

The term "horsepower" describes how powerful a car is based on how many horses helped assemble it in the factory. Use the key below to find out how much horsepower you need:

100 horsepower: Use this nearly powerless car to transport workers around a farm or tie a sled to it and pull your child around.

200 horsepower: This slightly better car could go to the grocery store, but it might get tired on the way and have to stop to rest.

300 horsepower: This medium-powerful car should be used for commuting to work and making people on bikes nervous.

400 horsepower: This car is strong enough to take a group of children to school if they are too mean and funny to ride the bus with regular kids.

500 horsepower: This amount of horsepower makes your car almost 100% horse. You'll notice it has a kinship with humans, but a simultaneous need to roam the earth freely. Like any horse, this car should be used for towing speedboats and making everyone else on the highway jealous.

Why is my car so tired?
