Using the LightSheer Diode Laser System, laser techs target follicles with measured pulses that last for a fraction of a second each. The waves of energy heat the hairs, inhibiting their ability to grow without causing damage to the surrounding tissues. The system includes a ChillTip hand piece, which cools the skin with each pulse in order to minimize discomfort and irritation. Technicians typically advise patients to schedule three–five treatments in order to generate satisfactory results.
