Come properly dressed. The hosts and tour guides were amiable folks. Building area could use a renovation.

Led by seasoned guides, groups trot through scenic 60-minute horseback rides before returning to rustic lodgings & continental breakfasts.

In Gulliver’s Travels, Jonathan Swift imagined a world where horses were civilized and humans were the ones who lived in stables and served as beer-company mascots. Saddle up with this Groupon.

About Estes Park Historic Lodging

The veteran equestrians at Estes Park Horseback let riders get an up-close look at the picturesque property of Elkhorn Lodge during year-round trail rides. The lodge is situated along the border of Rocky Mountain National Park. Consequently, horseback-riding excursions wind past several spectacular sights, including the Continental Divide and Old Man Mountain, easily distinguished by its inability to operate its smartphone. During winter months, snow-dusted paths stretch before riders, while spring and summer adventures trot along trails dappled with sunlight. Estes Park Horseback encourages guests to tote along cameras to capture scenic views and potential sightings of elk, bighorn sheep, and other animals roaming through the area.

great experience for us on our family vacation, and the pricing made it something we would do as a familiy of 6. Activities for families are hard to find that are affordable and paying $150 for the 6 of us to ride was well worth it. Without groupon we would have looked at $240 or $270 which would be to pricey. thanks groupon

My family & I had a great time horseback riding on the mt. side. The staff at Elkhorn Stables were great -- we would go back & ride again!
