Questions and Answers

Hi Bri,
So sorry, but as the fine print states, this cannot be used for products.
Thanks for checking though, and get your Groupon!

Hi,
I have partial highlights right now (golden brown on naturalyl black hair), but would like to get my hair colored, close to my natural color. How much will that cost? And what’s the difference between single process tint and semi/demi color?
Thanks
Erica, you are a freaking tease! This is not the East Bay! Sigh, maybe tomorrow.

Whoa, thank you for making me laugh this morning Sarah! Keep checking though, I promise East Bay Groupons are coming…
Natalie – this is a great question to call and ask the salon directly! (415-928-1114)
Thank you both, and get your Groupons!

Hi, just to be sure: is this valid to get an haircut and blow drying (all included)? Thanks!

Hi Camilla,
Yes! A haircut at Estila does include blowdry and styling!

Haircut with blow-dry and style is priced from $70-$90 dollars. Will I have to pay the difference of $15 dollars if they charge me $90 dollars. Does this $35 dollar coupon cover for haircut, blow-dry, and style without having to pay extra, other than tips. Thanks!

Hi Alyssa,
That range is based on who’s doing the cut. If you go with one of the senior stylists who charge $90, you will need to pay the difference. I suggest calling the salon to see which stylist would be best for you so you can plan accordingly!
Thanks so much, and get your Groupon!

the web prices posted on their website is different than when you call + book….anyone else
see this?

Hi Margarita,
The prices listed on the website are each “from” a certain price. The Groupon write-up includes the range of how much they could actually cost, depending on the level of stylist you work with.

Hi,
Can I use more than one groupon at time of purchase?

Hi Sarah,
Though you may buy multiple Groupons, you may only use 1 Groupon for yourself, as the Fine Print states.

This salon although may seem nice on the outside, is really not. They are a bunch of crooks.
I was a “First time client” to Estila salon – i had never gone there before although i did have my hair cut by someone named Lance over at Pure Beauty in Laurel village about 6 months ago. Lance did my haircut today, and when i arrived I showed them the groupon and there was no discussion of it.
After my hair was finished, they said that since i have had a haircut with lance (albeit at a different salon) in the past, i wasn’t going to qualify as a first time client.
Well guess what, i am not going to be a second time client now.
The reason i went to your salon in the first place was because i got the groupon, and was supposed to entitle me to $75 in credit at estila. Instead the manager and lance decided to value the certificate at $35 and make me pay for the rest in cash. Never again will i go to this salon, just on principle. I hope you see this story and realize that lance, along with the management at estila is unethical.
They did not realize the potential of gaining a long term customer, only looked at their short term profits.
Shame shame. Don’t go to estila, there are plenty of other great salons to choose from.

I agree with Ian, I was not impressed with this salon at all. Their prices were just as much as any other SF haircut where there are way nicer facilities, nicer salon, more professional and educated stylists, and basically overall experience; which was just lacking at Estila Salon! Okay haircut, but disappointing experience.

I’ve emailed them and they never replied. So reading those reviews makes me not wanna go.

Can this be used for products such as the salon’s shampoos and conditioners?
