The owners of the 8,000-square-foot CrossFit EMAA (Evolution Martial Arts Academy) have dedicated their space to fitness. Half of the academy has an open, 1.5-inch-thick martial-arts mat for hapkido and kickboxing moves, kids’ classes, and grappling. The other half is dedicated to CrossFit workouts, featuring barbells, bumper plates, kettlebells, and plyo boxes.
