Questions and Answers

This deal is for 2 people, do you have a deal for 1 person? Also, would a 3 year old be able to go, if so, what would the cost be? Thanks you.

TSTEWART asked 6 months, 1 day, 15 hours, and 35 minutes ago - 1 answer

Andrew M.

We currently have no deal for a single paddler, just our regular $50 dollars per person. Children between the ages of 6-12 are $35 per child with no voucher. Thanks, Capt Andrew

So I understand a tandem, do they ride separate or close to the parent. My 5 year needs to be near me because of his needs. Lynne

How many people at most per group?

Todd J. asked 6 months, 2 days, 6 hours, and 36 minutes ago - 1 answer

Andrew M.

We can take 13 paddles on the water on any given tour, however your reservation may be limited to the available kayaks for any given day. If you're group has 10 paddlers in it, and we already have 6 booked for that tour we will not be able to accommodate your entire group. Hope this helps! Just like reserving for a restaurant it is all based on availability. Good question - Capt Andrew

I havea 7 year old and 11 year old. Do you allow children? If you do, how do you do it?

Hazel R. asked 6 months, 3 days, 21 hours, and 1 minute ago - 1 answer

Andrew M.

Of course we allow children! Without them we would have nothing to feed the Alligators ; ) We have Tandem Kayaks Available so the kids can paddle along with the adults. Hope this answers your question - Capt Andrew

Are two person kayaks available? We are thinking of being there the middle of January. Will that be too cold?

Rita O. asked 6 months, 5 days, 13 hours, and 52 minutes ago - 1 answer

Andrew M.

Yes, we have many Tandem Kayaks in our fleet! Hard to tell if it will be "too" cold, all depends what the fronts are doing at the time. Voucher is valid for 180 days from purchase date. Hope this helps Capt. Andrew

Is there a weight limit?

Carissa P. asked 6 months, 5 days, 15 hours, and 15 minutes ago - 1 answer

Andrew M.

The weight limits per kayak are 450lbs in a Single Kayak and 750lbs per Tandem Kayak. Thanks Capt Andrew

Andrew M. answered 6 months, 5 days, 14 hours, and 3 minutes ago

Are you actually 3 hours paddling on the kayak? Does one have to be at it for the full 3 hours?

Edward P. asked 6 months, 5 days, 16 hours, and 40 minutes ago - 2 answers

Andrew M.

Yes, However our paddling speed is an average of 1-1.2 hours per hour. It is a nice slow pace perfect for viewing wildlife in the water and on the banks, taking time to observe and enjoy. Hope this answers your question - Thanks Capt Andrew

Andrew M. answered 6 months, 5 days, 14 hours, and 4 minutes ago

Leslie C.

It is not constant paddling. You actually move with the river, so you have time to relax and enjoy the scenery. We are in our 60's and had a wonderful time without being exhausted after 3 hours. You actually stop and take a bathroom break in the middle. Capt Andrew provides water and snacks. It is a very enjoyable paddle.
