Hi Angela, There are no contraindications and no interactions with medications. This shot is used to help your body metabolize fat better so that if you are trying to lose weight you are losing actual fat mass as opossed to muscle mass. Hi Tamara, There is no in office fee unless you decide to schedule a consultation. There are no hidden charges. If you decide you would like a consultation at our center the fee for that is only $25. Hi Barbara, These minerals are given every other week in order to make sure you aren't getting too much of any particular mineral. Our providers prescribe them to all of our patients and would not do so if we thought they were harmful. The injections are given either in the arm or the buttocks, whichever you feel most comfortable with. Thanks!
