This online fashion factory lets girls aged 6ish to 12ish create their own clothing designs via an easy-to-use web interface. Designs can be saved, shared, and transformed into a tangible copy of the cyber threads. Orders take three weeks to process, stitch, and deliver.
The building party begins when mini-fashionistas pick out the type of garment they’d like to create. Choose from clothes ($12–$25) such as dresses, T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and more or various accessories ($6–$25) like belts, ski hats, and backpacks, among others. Next, pick the appropriate size and favorite color or pattern. With the basics in place, the in-depth customization can begin. Add special touches for a few extra bucks, such as a ribbon, rhinestones, ruffles, and rosette. Add a customized label ($5) so future receivers of hand-me-downs will always be reminded who is responsible for their lovely outfit.
