Federal Restaurant & Lounge

Scott Perry uses local, organic ingredients to create southern-inspired dishes at Federal Restaurant & Lounge. Among his specialties are fried chicken with jalapeno cornbread and cured pork belly mixed into mac and cheese. But guests are encouraged to assemble their own specialties, too—feel free to build your own feast with selections from the meat and cheese menu, which features wild boar salami and triple crème goat brie. Until 1 a.m. at the earliest, people can hang inside Federal's cozy, 16-seat exposed brick dining room.

To complement Scott's culinary creations, bartenders at the lounge's two bars decant local craft beers and wines, as well as handcraft cocktails with local spirits. Those bars, like the lounge itself, are situated beneath the restaurant, while the lounge rests atop the cave where the crew keeps its bat-themed vigilante gear. Floor-to-ceiling LED lighting illuminates the packed dance floor; groups can hang out in the comfy leather seats to the side and enjoy bottle service of top-shelf vodkas and whiskeys.
