The three-day Harvest Tour de Vin runs from Sunday, September 22 to Tuesday, September 24, with tours behind the scenes of local Paso Robles wineries such as Cass Vineyard & Winery, Robert Hall Winery, and Roxo Port. Participants sample wine and learn about the harvest process from growers and winemakers; a cooking demo from Chef Jacob Lovejoy complements the wine info, as does a picnic lunch at Halter Ranch. Crush Encounter I and II are similar packages that showcase a unique, hands-on wine country experience: I is two days long, while II is three days long. Both focus on the wine-making process, allowing participants to crush and stomp wine grapes themselves, meet winemakers and growers, and sample the finished product at assorted Paso Robles wineries. On Crush Encounter II, participants also blend a custom bottle of wine to take home. Both packages include meals, local transportation, any relevant tasting fees, and educational seminars for their duration.

Paso Robles doesn't have one climate. Instead, it encompasses a diverse cluster of microclimates and a correspondingly diverse array of wineries. The grapes that ripen on their vineyards here vary widely in flavor and harvest date, and the resulting wines are predictably eclectic even though they all hail from the same region.
With First Crush Wine Experience, wine enthusiasts can sample the region's bounty—and even stomp on its grapes. Hands-on, multi-day tours let participants follow a bottle of wine from vine to finished product and on some trips, participants get to custom blend their own bottle of wine. The company's seminars, meanwhile, focus on topics such as honing the palate to help wine drinkers better differentiate between wine and wine-flavored Gatorade.
