Choose Between Two Options

  • $119 for an Orientation to Flight lesson (a $240 value)

Participants (aged 10 and older) receive 75 minutes of ground instruction before boarding a Cessna 152 for a 45-minute discovery flight that comes with a first-flight logbook.

  • $389 for a Fundamentals of Flying course (a $780 value)

This course consists of three two-hour lessons. During lessons, participants (aged 15 and older) undergo one hour of ground instruction and one hour of flight instruction in a Cessna 152. They also receive a flight-maneuvers handbook and a first-flight logbook.

Certified under the Federal Aviation Administration, Flight Academy of New Orleans puts wind under student's wings with professional, structured flight-training programs. Their staff of licensed and FAA-certified aviators instructs small classes that allow one-on-one interaction between students and Certified Flight Instructors for more vigorous training.
