Choose Between Two Options

  • $75 for a Handgun Intro Class (a $150 value)
  • $99 for an Advanced Concealed Carry Class (a $200 value)

Students can accelerate from no knowledge of handguns to competency by attending the the Handgun Intro Class, one of the four-hour classes. It focuses on safety and efficiency, and covers handling and selecting weapons along with shooting fundamentals such as stance and grip. The course meets the safety requirements for the State of Florida to apply for a concealed-weapons permit. Students bring their own ammo to class, up to 100 rounds for beginners.

Those who already have a concealed-weapons permit may sign up for the Advanced Concealed Carry Class, which places emphasis on building knowledge of concealed carry methods, equipment, and techniques. Skills improve with realistic environments and shoot-and-move scenarios. Students must bring a standard strong-side carry holster and 200 rounds of ammunition to class.

Florida Firearms Training

At Florida Firearms Training, the state-, NRA-, and military-certified instructors abide by the training philosophy that with ownership of firearms comes responsibility. With this in mind, they cover safe gun handling and loading in tactical and defensive courses for pistols, shotguns, rifles, and specialty weapons. At local ranges, they oversee their students while they leave the classroom and practice shooting techniques in a controlled environment.
