At the beginning of their iFly adventure, flyers watch a training video and work with instructors to learn the correct flying position. They then don a flight suit, helmet, and goggles before entering the wind chamber for two 60-second flights. A high-speed column of air lifts bodies upwards as an instructor adjusts positions, simulating the feeling of skydiving. Waves crest nonstop on the 34-foot-wide indoor Flowrider, where boogie boarders and surfers attempt tricks with ample room for safe bailouts on the cushioned machine. Meanwhile, the iRock pass grants climbers all-day admission to bouldering areas and top-rope walls that climb upwards of 55 feet. Admission includes harnesses, belay devices, and carabineers.

The surfer was getting dangerously close to the crest. It was a huge wave, spanning 34 feet, but the last thing he wanted was to bail in front of his friends. Meanwhile, iFLY exchanges footholds for a column of high-speed, shooting air, which elevates would-be fliers to simulate the feeling of skydiving or being kicked out of a moving UFO.
