Most classes meet for two hours once a week for a total of 20 hours of class time. Students can learn French or Spanish from the very beginning or or select a higher level class if they have previous experience with the language. While only French and Spanish are offered at the Washington, D.C. location, eight additional languages are planned to be added soon.

Instructors who have gone through the experience of learning a language themselves expound mostly on how to speak the language, but also on the language's alphabet, grammar, and expressions, focusing on how the language itself works.

Fluent City

Fluent City's campuses train tongues in the basics and nuances of 10 languages through interactive group classes. Experienced professors introduce groups of students to vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Hebrew. Languages are divided based on students' incoming level of proficiency, and group courses run for a total of 20 hours. Although not included with the class, students can also meet with instructors in flexible private lessons tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
