The six chrome X-Poles at Flying Angels Fitness are spread far enough apart to give ladies plenty of elbow room to perform flirtatious, body-toning exercises. Owner and certified instructor Angie leads fun, yet physically demanding vertical dance sessions that challenge participants to execute poses while holding onto the 14-foot poles. Open sessions allow studio members to try out new moves so they won't have to practice dancing on telephone poles. Exercisers who would rather keep their feet on the floor can sweat through pole-free sessions including kickboxing and Zumba set to high-energy Latin beats.
