Questions and Answers

Which airport is this taking place? I assume no obligation to continue with lessons? But offered to those interested? Thanks

No there is obligation to continue training, but this is being offered to those that are seriously considering obtaining their pilot's license. We are currently operating out of Falcon Field in Mesa.

How many Lessons does it take to become certified? What is the average / basic cost to take the full course?

The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of total flight time, but the national average is closer to 70 hours. The total cost can range anywhere from $8,000 on up depending on the individual.

What is the minimum age to do this? My 14 year old son dreams of being a pilot and has done an introductory flight simulation before... Thanks.

You have to be 16 before obtaining your pilots license, so we usually recommend waiting until he is a little closer to that age. Thank you
