- $38 for $80 worth of firewood or smoking wood
Four Seasons Firewood stocks split firewood in 4'x8'x16" ricks and 4'x4'x8' cords—or three ricks—including walnut ($120/rick; $360/cord), oak ($150/rick; $450/cord), and a budget mix ($90/rick; $270/cord). The lot also piles smoking wood—12-inch instead of 16-inch splits—such as hickory ($165/rick; $495/cord) for barbecuing meats. The stock is subject to change.
Firewood can be picked up, or delivered for $15–$35 per rick based on location, with discounts available for deliveries of more than three ricks. The delivery area extends from Four Seasons' location in North Newton to Marion, Rose Hill, and Augusta. Delivery to farther locations is available for a negotiable fee. Stacking costs $10 per rick.
Four Seasons Firewood
The staff members at Four Seasons Firewood possess an encyclopedic knowledge of firewood and smoking wood, able to articulate each wood's properties the way a sommelier articulates a wine's flavors. They know which woods ignite the easiest, which release the best aromas, which burn the longest, and which are best for smoking meats or staking down sentient scarecrows. At any given time of year, Four Seasons' lot stocks ricks and cords of split oak, walnut, hickory, pecan, apple, and more, all available for pickup or delivery.
