It says limit 2 per person. I already bought 2 and realized my friend gave me 2 as a gift. Can I use all four?
Is there somewhere one can actually find the prices of the services? The web site does not list them and calling up would be tedious. I was specifially interested in the price of the package that included a one hour massage and a one hour facial.

The picture is kind of misleading (beautiful waffle and sandwich) as the Groupon doesn’t cover the Cafe. Attention to detail!
This is a FANTASTIC deal. My favorite marketplace next to the one in Paris.
Similar question as John’s above – just to verify – does the groupon cover ANYTHING purchased in the Market (i.e. prepared foods, wine, etc.) or just groceries?
Yvonne – The ingredients to prepare this dish are in the market. Interruptation is everything. I’m sure there would be somone to walk through the market and select the items needed.
i assume the deli (prepared salads) is in this deal, because that is certainly not the cafe, nor the wine bar. However, i’m probably heading directly to the cheese section on this one!

Just echoing the questions above about whether or not this is good for wine.
I think the alcohol section of the grocery store is covered- it excludes the “Wine Bar”, which I imagine serves single glasses of wine (I’ve just moved to the area and didn’t notice the Wine Bar when I’ve been there so I’m not entirely sure).
And while I think their boxed meals from the cafe would be excluded, they do have a good selection of pre-cooked, refrigerated meals that are quite good and would be included in this deal.
would the groupon count as $20 toward parking? just hoping…

The wine bar is fairly new, they sell wine by the carafe or bottle, and some dishes. I don’t think they are exactly part of fox n obel. I hope it includes the deli, b/c I was planning on using them for crab cakes and foie gras!!
Hello everyone! I work for Fox & Obel and I can communicate on most of the questions raised.
Alcohol is included in the deal, as well as our Prepared Foods, Home Meals, and all packaged foods.
The Brown Box Dinners are also included as they have recently moved out of our Cafe and into the Market portion of the store.
Your parking will be validated with your Groupon purchase.

I keep getting the 404 page not found as well after I complete my order. Should I keep trying Groupon or this placing my order?
I also got the 404 message, so I called Groupon and they manually entered my purchase in their system. Their phone lines will be ringing constantly.
Mary – there is parking right next to the store front, it’s very clearly indicated on the sign for the garage that it is parking for F & O customers.

Groupon should give Fox&Obel a deal on this since their system is broken.
Mary K – you park in the garage across the street to the north of Fox & Obel….very easy & convenient. (with plenty of signage to find the correct spot!)

I know that there’s 1 day 13 hours left to the deal but is this one of those Groupon deals that might get closed sooner then expected due to the unexpected volume of purchases?
i’ve tried to buy it 2 or 3 times and nothing is showing up in my account, so i don’t think its going through. still the 404 message. where are the groupon tech people?
i do think this is one that might get sold out – just look at the number of people who have already purchased. which is why groupon should be responding to this already, and addressing this discussion.
I got the 404 Error, but a few minutes later got a message I had received my Groupon.

I got the 404 error each of the two times that I tried but did not get confirmation that purchase went through. Do I keep on trying or wait for Groupon’s response? I don’t want to end up with a ton when I only wanted to purchase 2.

how do you know its been purchased? a confirm email? or do you look in your groupon account? I’ve tried 3 times and got the 404 error but no confirmation. I’m debating if I should try a few more times or if im going to be charged for like 40 groupons.
Mine took two tries, but the second time, 404 equaled purchased. Got the pop-up when I came back to the home page.

i also got the 404 error message, but then i checked my info in the “mu stuff” section and it reflects that my purchase is being processed. it’s been over 30 minutes, but i still havent’ gotten a confirmation email. i don’t think you’ll get charged for purchasing more than 2 groupons, b/c they automatically limit the possible purchase amount to two groupons max on this special.
same issue with me about the 404 error…it looks like i made the purchase twice but i only wanted 1 coupon…
I would suggest to continue on trying – my order went through on the 6th attempt – no 404 error, confirmed with a pop-up. Thanks Althea!
Got the 404 error message twice and checked “My Groupons” page to see if registered. I guess I’ll keep trying based on people’s comments til it finally registers.
I had no problems, but it took awhile to register my purchase — great deal today!!

Hey Everyone – Just reading through your threads here and thought I would post a reply to help some of you out. The FINE print reads. . .
- that the coupon expires 10/25/2010.
- Limit 2 per person.
- Limit 1 per visit.
- Not valid with other offers.
- Tax not included.
- Valid for MARKET purchases only. (John M., Yvonne N., Mia V., etc)
- NOT valid for Wine Bar or Cafe. (John M., Yvonne N., Mia V., etc)
Hope this clears up some of the confusion about how to use the groupon.

It’s a shame that I tried to purchase this (I made at least 7-10 attempts, and kept getting the 404 error), and now it is sold out.
I normally have very good service with Groupon, and hope that this technical issue is isolated.

I received the same error message but have nothing in “My Stuff” pertaining to my F&O order. Did I get shut out or will it appear later in the day?
for those having technical issues, one thing to keep aware of is groupon is VERY buggy when you’re also signed into facebook.
basically if you’re linked to your facebook account you may have two accounts… For example I apparently have one for facebook and one regular on their site (with my gmail address, which is also my primary e-mail address on my facebook… if they’re using the API they should be able to determine this and link the two accounts as one)
i have a problem nearly every time i try to use groupon because it says i’m signed in (via facebook) and then always gives weird errors. I’ve gotten 404 errors when trying to sign in with my regular account and already signed in w/ Facebook
Today, it appears to have been willing to allow me to use my Facebook account (thank you hidden powers that be…) to purchase. However, on the checkout page it was prompting me to enter my e-mail address (strange, seeing as how they somehow have my credit card stored but not my e-mail, and it says I’m signed in?). When I left that blank it wouldn’t let me purchase. When I put in my gmail, it told me sorry that account already exists and to sign in. Well I’m already signed in… make up your mind??

Oddly, I now also somehow have two different “my groupon” pages… some of my groupons i’ve purchased are under my facebook profile and the others are under my regular gmail. so annoying.
i tried several times to buy this at approximately 10 a.m. and only got the 404 error message.
Is it possible that the deal closed based on a miscount of groupons purchased? I personally tried several times to purchase but was errored out, and many others seem to have had the same problem.

Sold out? Really? That’s pretty sketchy/lame, especially since the initial offer didn’t indicate that there was an early quit time or volume limit.

Since when did Groupons start selling out? Suneel – you were just at the Kellogg Tech Conference – we didn’t hear anything about selling out. Frustrating since the email didn’t even reach my inbox until after 1pm.
I also did not receive this Groupon until the afternon and it was sold out already…not fair!
Darn – I also did not receive the email until this afternoon. Previously I received the Groupon emails like clockwork early in the morning. There seems to be a problem.

it may not have been there the whole time, but near the end for a few hours at least there was a countdown to how many were left before it sold out, with the total adding up to 10000. at 11:15am or so it said about 9000 were purchased and right below said there were 1000 left to buy.
this wouldn’t be the first or last time a groupon sold out, it’s not that uncommon i don’t think actually…
If it’s in your cart as pending, you should be ok. My order on the other hand, apparently didn’t go through. so bummed.
The expiration date should be changed since my order has been pending all day!

If your order is being processed its fine. I have had mine process an entire day quite often. Groupon used to always state that your groupon would not be available until the next business day for printing, and are not valid until then.
As far as selling out, everyone has to have a limit. 10,000 is quite a high one so I am not surprised they closed it.

This place was over-priced… more expensive than Whole Foods!!! But man did I enjoy the cafe food which wasn’t included in the groupon.
