Would I need to buy two if I want to go with my husband?

Hi everyone! The response to our dance lessons offer has been great. My instructors are looking forward to meeting all of you and introducing you to ballroom, latin & social dancing.
I’ve already received several phone calls at the studio this morning with questions. Most questions have to do with Groupons being used for couples or singles. If you buy a Groupon it will be good for either a couple or a single person. If you’re single – you don’t have to worry about having a partner to learn, because your teacher will be your partner.
I’ll be available online or by phone for most of the day, so if you have ANY questions just let me know.

Hi Margie – you only need to buy one Groupon. It is valid for a couple or a single person.

If I purchase this as a gift for a couple do they each get 2 lessons plus the group class or since there are 2 people is it just 1 lesson and the group class?

Hi Kim – you only need to buy 1 Groupon. As a couple they will get 2 private lessons and either a group lesson or attend one of our dance parties.

The offer is for new students only, but is it for beginners only?

Hi Holly – It’s Ok with me if you’ve taken some lessons somewhere else. Buy the Groupon and just let us know when you schedule your first lesson that you’ve danced before and what dance style or level you want to work on.

Could this be used for a couple preparing for their wedding? Would they focus on one dance?

Hi Jennifer – First congratulations if it’s your upcoming wedding. Yes you can use the Groupon for a wedding dance, but please understand, like any skill it usually takes more than two lessons to learn a choreographed wedding dance.

I am thinking of buying this groupon deal for my trip home over Thanksgiving. However, I am concerned with the amount of time I will have in order to use this in full. What are your hours of operation to schedule the appointments and would it be a total of 3 appts or 2?

Hi Deanna – Offically we teach lessons from 1:00pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday and Saturdays by appointment with the teacher. But my instructors have been known to teacher before noon and after 10:00 pm if it will help the student. You can also schedule your two private lessons back to back. The group lesson and/or dance party is a drop in – you don’t need to schedule that appointment. I’m sure we can work with your schedule, just give us a call in advance since you want Thanksgiving weekend. I might have a few instructors wanting a few days off to recover from turkey overload.

I just purchased this groupon for myself. Before I bought mine, I mentioned to a friend that I might be interested. Not sure if he’ll end up purchasing this, but if receive a groupon as a gift and I already bought myself a groupon, can I use both for additional lessons?

No I doubt that they will let you do that. They will want to sell you another package of dance lessons at a much higher cost.

Hi Lena – Sorry, but as it says in the offer “Limit 1 per person or couple”. If your friends buys one then he/she could use the Groupon for private lessons.

What a fun Groupon!! I’ve wanted to learn Salsa or Ballroom before my 60th birthday next year so this offer was right on time. Can’t wait to get started:-)

Thanks Karen! We can’t wait to teach you. Give us a call as soon as you receive your Groupon so we can get you scheduled. Obviously, with so many Groupons sold we are going to be busier then normal, but the sooner you call, the sooner we can get you started.

Disappointed. The groupon says (2) 45 minute dance lessons when it reality they are 20 minute lessons and 20 minutes of them making you talk to a sales person who trys to upsell you packages. Made the experience very disappointing. I felt like I had a dollar sign over my head.
