Thanks for the answer, that helped alot. One more question. I want to use them for my daughters bridemaids luncheon that will be around the first part of Nov..how do you store them or do they have to be eaten right away?

Hi Lisa - if you can't or don't plan to eat them within 5 days from the time they arrive, you can simply freeze them at which point they'll stay fresh retaining the original flavor and texture for up to 12 months. They would be perfect for your daughters bridesmaids luncheon.

Are these shipped in a refridgerated cooler...we are in Texas and it is still warm here...looks like they would melt if they are not. Also, what is the expiration date on the Groupon?

Hi Lisa - these are shipped shelf-stable / fresh (not refrigerated). We do, however, include some gel packs into the packages going to the regions with high temperatures (i.e. TX, FL, CA, AZ, etc.). These aren't really necessary to keep the product in tact, but given the high temperatures in some of the states, we include gel packs just so the cookies don't melt and potentially get ruined. Please note that the gel packs will most likely melt by the time the package is delivered to you, but that shouldn't in any way compromise the product. Even if the product arrives at the room temperature, it's fine to consume it. As far as the expiration date, this Groupon expires tomorrow (Monday). With this deal you are not buying the voucher that you redeem on our website - you are purchasing the actual product that will ship to you as soon as this promotion is over (i.e. earlier this week).
