  • The strike in 1978 lasted 88 days. There were no newspapers for August 10, 1978-November 5, 1978.

  • The strike in 1965 caused “joint” publication dates, which combined both weekend days into one newspaper on the following dates:
    • September 18, 1965 - September 19, 1965
    • September 25, 1965 - September 26, 1965
    • October 2, 1965 - October 3, 1965
    • October 9, 1965 - October 10, 1965

  • The strike from December 1962 to March 1963 resulted in no newspapers on these Sundays and holidays:
