A platform bed with a solid base makes the ideal support system: something firm, solid and rigid that supports the mattress from top to bottom and on all sides. A box spring is good too so long as it provides the same type rigidity and support. A saggy box spring will make for a saggy mattress! You need something that provides uniform support for the mattress from top to bottom and side to side. I can’t recommend a specific brand to you but I do recommend that you sit on it and make sure it offers firm, even support. If it sags underneath your weight your mattress will do the same. Please also review the Warranty Info under the Customer Service header on the home page of our website. A traditional metal frame won’t work, you need uniform support to hold the bottom of the mattress. Slats work as long as they are spaced closely enough to not allow room for the mattress to sag between them.

Yes, the only shipping restrictions are that they do not ship to AK/HI/Canada. Ships out in 2-8 weeks from purchase date. Does not ship to PO boxes. Enjoy!
