Danube River Cruise Through Europe
The Danube river passes through nine countries from the Black Forest to the Black Sea, including Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia. You’ll experience many of these countries on this 10-day trip from Beyond Boundaries Travel, depending on the itinerary chosen. Along the way, you can disembark and bike through the river towns (bike rental not included in Groupon) or take an optional city tour (extra cost). Biking day trips range from 9 to 35 miles, and some routes can be shortened. This vacation includes:

- Shared-ride transfer from Munich airport to Passau, Germany
- Shared-ride transfer from Passau to a Munich airport hotel
- 7-night Danube river cruise, with private facilities and air conditioning; cabin upgrades available

Days 1–3: Passau, Germany to Austria
The rundown: After transferring from Munich, you’ll start your trip by bus or bike in the river city of Passau, where three rivers converge. You’ll pass through Engelhartszell, Brandstatt, and other Austrian villages.

Day 4: Hainburg and Bratislava
The rundown: Travel by bus or bike from the medieval Austrian town of Hainburg into Bratislava, Slovakia, which features a riverfront castle amid mountain scenery. Bratislava is often used as a stand-in film location for Prague, as the cities are very similar in aspect.

3. How do I find out if the dates I want to travel are available? You can give our office a call and we can inquire with the boat if your dates are still available. The likelihood of a date not being available is very slim, though.
4. What happens if I buy the Groupon and my travel dates are not available? You have the option to move to another date that is available. We will work with you to find a date that you can travel on that is still available. If we are not able to find an acceptable travel date you always have the option of having your trip refunded, or using the amount you paid to go toward a different trip with us.
5. Does my child need a Groupon, and can they stay in my room? Children do need a Groupon as all rooms are based on double occupancy, regardless of age. The majority of cabins are for two people with no option for extra beds. There may be a possibility of a triple room, but you will need to give our office a call to inquire about the availability of a triple based on your dates of travel as these rooms are limited.
