Candlelight Inn

One of the deadliest battles of the Anglo-American War of 1812 was fought on Lundy’s Lane. But you might not know it from the look of the street today: aside from a few monuments, most of the old battlefield is now covered with boutiques and plazas. The formerly tumultuous land is now a happy shopper’s paradise, complete with an outlet mall housing more than 40 top designer shops. Located right on Lundy’s Lane—half a block from the outlets—Candlelight Inn makes a good home base for shoppers and historians alike. The hotel features free onsite parking, so guests can leave their cars behind in a secure lot and be free to explore the historic neighborhood. It’s just a short drive from here to the downtown core of Niagara Falls.
