Anglins Fishing Pier is a nice spot to catch snapper and mackerel, and you can buy bait and rent fishing rods onsite. Scuba diving and snorkeling are also popular pastime in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea—just 100 yards offshore are coral reefs full of spiny lobsters, sea fans, and tropical fish. They’re some of the only reefs in South Florida that can be reached by swimming.
