Just a few steps from the Los Angeles Harbor sits the Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel. From its rooms you can see far-reaching views of the water as well as the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Taking a note from these maritime surroundings, the hotel’s decor incorporates nautical navy blues and whites in the guest rooms. In the chic Blu Restaurant and Lounge, you can have dinner or a cocktail among shimmering blue accents that call to mind the ocean glinting in the sun. Guest rooms are spacious and feature 32-inch TVs and separate workspaces. In the morning, you can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast before heading out for the day. There’s plenty to do and see nearby, including the Aquarium of the Pacific and Fanfare Fountain, a synchronized water display set to the sounds of popular songs.

About a block from the hotel you’ll find the USS Iowa. Built in 1940, it was once known as “the world’s greatest naval ship” for its guns, armor, and speed.
