This 11-day tour from Gate 1 Travel introduces you to six Scandinavian cities: Oslo, Lillehammer, Sogndal, Bergen, Gothenburg, and Copenhagen. The trip includes sightseeing tours in each city as well as optional excursions that highlight the history of the region. Optional excursions may sell out, so it’d be wise to book early.

En Route to Oslo (Day 1)
- Flight time: 8 hours
Oslo, Norway (Days 2–3 & 7)
- Half-day city tour: Visit Oslo’s main square and a sculpture park designed by Gustav Vigeland that has more than 192 sculptures. The most famous: a 46-foot monolith, with 121 figures carved from a single block of granite
- Optional tour: 4-hour guided tour of historic ships, including three 1,200-year-old Viking ships ($73 per person)
Lillehammer, Norway (Day 4)
- Claim to fame: Lillehammer hosted the 1994 Winter Olympics. You’ll get a nice view of the Olympics ski-jump during a brief tour of the city.
- Visit a circa-1150 stave church: in the nearby village of Lom. A stave church is a medieval church constructed entirely of wood.

Sogndal, Norway (Day 5)
