London & the English Countryside

When your plane lands in London on Day 2, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the city at your leisure. The following day, the group boards a vintage double-decker bus to take in London’s iconic sights, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, and the London Eye. Day 3 also includes a cruise on the River Thames, past Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the London Bridge. The tour ends with a visit to the Tower of London, a prison-turned-vault, home to the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. The trip’s final two days are spent on quick day trips out of the city to see the surrounding countryside.

• Explore Stonehenge: Included in your trip is a tour of Stonehenge on Day 4, with a fast track entrance to skip the lines. Historians believe this prehistoric monument was an important site for pagan worship.
• Relax in Bath: Spend the afternoon of Day 4 wandering the charming streets of Bath, named for its famous Roman Baths—entrance to the baths is included with the deal.
• See Oxford: Roam the campus of the University of Oxford on an included walking tour on Day 5. Some of the university’s historic ivy-covered buildings recently doubled as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films
