Whitewashed Victorian Home a Short Walk from the Beach

The Hamptons have justly earned their reputation as the preferred summer vacation destination of notable New Yorkers, such as Steven Spielberg and Martha Stewart. The small villages and hamlets along Long Island’s South Fork are dotted with rolling dunes, unspoiled beaches, and multimillion-dollar mansions. About 75 miles east of Manhattan lies the South Fork of Long Island, collectively known as the Hamptons. South Fork comprises the towns of Southampton and Easthampton, plus a series of smaller picturesque villages and hamlets (not all necessarily ending in "-hampton").
