I am considering buying this for my son, his wife and two childern. Is there a resturant on site? Is the resturant 4 star? (no jeans) what are check in and check out times? the childern are 5 and 7, is the five year old to young? How much additional money will they need? This is a gift. I would not want them to pay out of pocket. What is a good sum to have on hand? Can I provide a credit card number at the desk and allow them to sign room tabs?

There is dining on site, but it is not a "no jeans" facility. In fact, you can eat at our restaurants fresh from the waterpark in swim suits and cover-ups if you'd like. http://www.greatwolf.com/traverse/amenities/dining Check in is 4pm and check out 11am. Five year olds are not too young, we have a lot of activities for smaller children and even toddlers. http://www.greatwolf.com/traverse/explore/children. Additional money needed will depend on if they want to eat at our restaurants, purchase souvenirs at Buckhorn Exchange, participate in other amenities like Scooops Kid Spa, Northern Lights Arcade, Howl In One Mini Golf. If we purchase the Groupon for Friday can we use the vouchers for the Waterpark on Saturday? And what time are the waterpark vouchers good for?

The voucher on Friday is for a Friday night stay, but you can use the waterpark as early as 1pm on Friday and until the park closes on Saturday.

Hotel policy states not pet friendly, but you website states you are. Which is it and are you allowed to crate your dog in the room if pet friendly and is there additional charges?

I'm sorry for any confusion, but our lodges are not pet-friendly. According to our FAQ section on our site: For the health and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow any pets into the Lodge. If you would like information on a full service kennel in the Traverse City area, please contact Deerfield Dog Lodging. Service animals as defined by the ADA are allowed in all areas of the resort. For the health and safety of our guests, service animals are not allowed in the pools and attractions of the water park.

I am interested in option 1, but it says the hotel check in time is 4 pm, and check out time is 11 am. That gives me only 3-4 hours of actual playing time with kids (4 pm thru 8 pm). Is it possible we get the waterpark passes early (before the check in time), so that we play at the waterpark on Sunday morning (thru the afternoon) and check in to the hotel room at 4pm? Thank you.
