Midweek we can get you our of Long Beach or Dana Point for no extra charge (if traveling in Feb or March.). Weekends it is $40 per person extra for the round trip from Long Beach. Parking is about $15-$16 dollars per day.

I want to come with my husband and small well behaved dog. We would need to arrive on a Friday. Would we be able to travel on any boats with our dog without paying an upgrade fee on this day?

Only Catalina Express allows dogs on their boats and they must be muzzeled or in a carry-on. Catalina Express is available for $40 per person upgrade to your Groupon. Our pet policy states a charge $25. Weekend travel (as designated by the boat comapnies) starts on Friday, so you'd have to buy Option #2. NOTE: If you came mid week anytime in Feb or March there would be no extra boat charge and you could bring your dog for only $25 lodgin fee.

If you are traveling over between a Sunday and Wed, we upgrade you for FREE to the Catalina Express out of Long Beach. Think 10 am departure to the island and a 11:45 retrun two days later. NOw that you know everything.... Buy that Groupon

Is the included boat ride on the Catalina Flyer or other catamaran-type boat? Last time I took my wife to Catalina, it was aboard what was little more than an old fishing boat that did NOT handle the waves well and she became sea sick. Thanks!

No. We are a half block from the beach in the center of town. Our sister hotel (Catalina Beach House) has an ocean view suite that we'll work into your package if you are planning a special mini-vacation. The extra fee is $100 per night for this suite with 2-person spa tub, ocean view, from unit and deck and so much more.

The later boat is from Long Beach, however the Long Beach boat is a $40 per person upgrade. Just put your desires in the Comment Section of the Reservation Request drop down from our home page (www.HermosaHotel.com) and we'll get right on it. Specify a departure time that pleases you.
